01. What we cover
Three sections. Three sides of the catalog.
On Rotation — the streaming platforms. Netflix, Prime, JioHotstar, Apple TV+. Liner-notes-style platform reviews, honest comparisons, the streaming mixtape that respects your time. Browse the full On Rotation section.
Singles — theatrical cinema. 2026 anticipated releases, Bollywood slates, documentary deep cuts. The big singles that earn the IMAX seat. The Singles archive.
Albums — long-form series. Web series, K-drama, the long-playing format reshaping streaming. The Albums section covers it.
02. Our editorial principles
- No sponsored coverage. Period. If a recommendation reads like an ad, it's because we genuinely liked the record.
- No affiliate fishing. Where we link out, we link to the best source — not the most lucrative one.
- Slow over scaled. We press records in limited runs — ten a month maximum. Most sit in drafts for weeks. We would rather publish nothing than publish filler.
- Transparent corrections. When we get something wrong, we say so at the top of the affected piece, dated, with what changed.
- Human-written, human-edited. Every record is written and edited by a person. Where AI tools assist, we say so.
03. Who we are
Little Records was founded in 2026 as a small editorial studio. The masthead is a working collective of critics, journalists, and editors filing on a freelance basis. Every published record carries a byline; we do not publish anonymous coverage.
Good entertainment coverage is patient. You have to actually drop the needle before you write about it.
The editor
Seong Seo-young is the founding editor. Based in Suncheon City. A decade in journalism and criticism. Reach the editor via the contact page.
04. How we fund this
Little Records is independently funded. We do not currently run display advertising. We do not sell newsletter placements. The studio is supported by its founding editor and may eventually add a paid subscription tier — our free records will always remain free, complete, and unpaywalled.
05. Our use of AI tools
We use AI tools (currently Claude by Anthropic) for research assistance, fact-gathering, drafting, and copy editing. Every record is read, fact-checked, edited, and approved by a human editor before pressing. We take full responsibility.
06. Pitches & corrections
Pitch a record. Flag a correction. Recommend what to press next. Head to contact — we read everything.
